About Counseling at the Phoenix CenteR
It takes great courage for an individual to seek help, especially after experiencing trauma, loss, or other difficult life events. Phoenix Center uses a strengths-based approach and evidence-based care for children and families with any emotional, behavioral, or mental heath need. Our therapists draw from a variety of trauma-informed and evidence-based methods and therapies to provide clients with the best opportunities for learning, healing, and growth.
Our therapists have advanced, specialized training in evidence-based counseling methods for children and families, and are specialized in the treatment of trauma, grief, and other mental health needs. Phoenix Center therapists are trained in evidence-based play therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed care and a research-based parenting curriculum, Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPR-T). In addition to services for children, and family therapy, we provide parent consultations and parenting groups. All Phoenix Center staff therapists are licensed mental health professionals.
Phoenix Center serves children ages birth to 18 with any emotional or behavioral need. In addition, we provide support for parents, caregivers, and Infant Mental health services for caregivers and infants beginning at birth. Scholarships are available for any family in need.
