Therapy groups are offered for children and adolescents throughout the year at the Phoenix Center and in local schools. Our innovative groups utilize equine-assisted therapy, music therapy, art therapy, yoga therapy, and other trauma-informed methods.

SAND TRAY THERAPY FOR GIRLS GRADES 3RD - 5TH
Wednesdays | October 2nd- November 13th (7 weeks) | 4:00PM - 5:00pm
Sand tray therapy is a non-verbal therapeutic intervention that uses sand boxes and toy figures to create scenes of miniature worlds that reflect a person's inner thoughts, struggles, and concerns. This group will use sand tray and expressive art to explore social skills and coping strategies that children can utilize at school and other social environments.
EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY GROUP FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH
Wednesdays | October 2nd- November 6th (6 weeks) | 11:30am-12:45pm
Equine therapy groups are held at Corwin Hills Equestrian Center. Please note that our equine therapy groups focus on ground-work and other therapeutic activities, not horseback riding.
FUSED GLASS ART CLASS FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
Thursday | October 17th | 4:30pm-5:30pm
Join us for an art therapy group where teens will experience creating fused glass with therapeutic applications. All materials provided.

In addition to groups for students, Phoenix Center also facilitates individual therapy sessions and crisis counseling at multiple public school campuses, including Marble Falls Middle School, Highland Lakes Elementary School, Falls Career High School, and Marble Falls Elementary School. Additionally, Trauma-Informed educational trainings are provided for Head Start, Llano ISD, Burnet ISD, and Marble Falls ISD educators and administrators.
