Trauma-Informed Trainings
Trauma-Informed Trainings include the major tenets of trauma-informed care, the neurobiology of trauma, and offer practical, ready-to-use solutions to increase regulation and decrease challenging behaviors. Participants will leave with an understanding of why behavioral tools and strategies that work for most children are often inadequate and ineffective with children who have experienced trauma. Our trainings provide interventions and tools that are trauma-informed and effective.
Trainings can be expanded to all-day (6 hours, with break) upon request, and other topics may be available upon request. To request a trauma-informed training, or learn more, please contact Sarah Garrett by email.
Please visit our Parenting page for information about upcoming workshops for parents and caregivers.
